🌿 How your well-being and capacity will affect your dog training skills as a handler and human

🌿 How to increase your capacity by understanding needs + triggers, nervous system regulation + dysregulation.

Outlets and Life Skills: Guelph

Do you have a high energy dog who doesn’t get tired from a walk, or one who struggles with frustration, neutrality to dogs and people, or just generally needs “more”?

We’re excited to announce a new 4 week class, Outlets and Life Skills for High Energy and Reactive dogs, which is all about providing healthy energy release outlets as well as improving obedience and manners in public.

Each class, we will be focusing on both an exercise outlet that combines structure as well as healthy energy release for the dogs. With each activity, we will be emphasizing both teaching manners and focus while in a state of excitement, as well as creating opportunities for the dogs to have fun and meet their instinctive or breed specific needs, so that they can be more fulfilled and have a more balanced emotional state overall.

We will also be focusing on life skills such as how to practice their obedience and manners in public, around dogs and people.

The goal is to help high energy dogs find a healthy balance in life, get their needs met, build their relationships with their handlers and become better canine citizens.

Details:
4 Mondays - May 27, June 3, June 10, June 17
6:30pm-7:30pm
Guelph, park TBD
$225+hst
